How To - Sow Seeds Outdoor

	1. Rake the area thoroughly – it should have previously been dug carefully.
	2. Scatter a general purpose fertiliser such as Fish, Blood and Bone and then lightly rake again.
	3. Use the back of the rake to make a shallow seed drill
	4. Sow your seeds by gently tapping the packet – not too many!
	5. Use the rake to carefully push back the soil
	6. Tamp down gently with the back of the rake
	7. Put in a marker stick at the end of the row
	8. And don't forget the label – then water with a fine spray.
